  • Shout Magazine

We are the voice of Aboriginal youth in Saskatchewan. By publishing a monthly magazine written for Aboriginal youth by Aboriginal youth, we provide a culturally-relevant forum where we can discuss our issues and find our own solutions that work for us. The premise of Shout is to encourage Aboriginal youth to stay in school, to move into careers that support key industries, and to make healthy life choices. Shout magazine includes regular monthly features that focus on health, culture, relationships, personal care/appearances, entertainment, sports/fitness, as well as a monthly career and employment feature. Shout currently prints and distributed 10,000 copies monthly with an estimated readership of over 30,000.
  • The Native Canadian Centre of Toronto

Our Native way has always given us life. On the foundation of this belief we can and will build a strong and healthy Native community. For the people who come from the four directions of our nation we will make a good "Centre" and from this place we will create the means to reach out to the people to mend the hurt; lift up the broken; free the imprisoned, mind and spirit. To challenge the young, strengthen the families; respect the elders - past, present and future. We will do this by honouring the Native way life way through commitment to self-determination through striving for a life of quality and by moving toward the empowerment of community.
  • United Native Nations
