I am inspired by Youth, by Voice, and by people who care. I am also inspired by the beauty of the world, which I think consists of nature, of art and of community. I am involved in theatre, and literature: I was recently published in a book about Indigenous identity, the environment, and co-habitation and communication between Indigenous peoples and French Canadians in Québec. I'm inspired by the amount of strength, persistence, and resistance that people have despite what they are up against. Protests, vigils, conferences, gatherings and meetings were a regular background to my childhood. I believe that it was this that taught me to be proud, strong, and to continue the work of those that came before me.
